My name is Hussein Ali, and I founded Legacy Grave Services out of something far deeper than business — it was born from love, loss, and a lifelong promise to care.
Since 1997, I’ve been visiting cemeteries regularly to care for my sister’s resting place after her tragic passing. I still remember the quiet peace of those early mornings — trimming the grass, brushing away leaves, planting flowers, and carefully cleaning her headstone so her memory would always shine bright. What started as a personal ritual of love and remembrance slowly grew into a lifelong passion for preserving the dignity and beauty of every memorial.
What began with one headstone has evolved into a compassionate local service dedicated to families throughout Streamwood, Illinois, and the surrounding communities of Schaumburg, Bartlett, Hoffman Estates, and Elgin.
Outside of my work, I’m a family person through and through. Nothing beats an afternoon out alongside my amazing wife Noor and my daughter Sarah (who we named in my sister's remembrance). They understand how powerful it is to maintain a connection to the ones we’ve lost — and how much peace it brings to see their final resting place treated with dignity.
That’s why every service we provide is personal. I treat each memorial as if it belonged to my own family — because I know firsthand how much it matters.
Whether you live nearby or far away, I want you to feel confident knowing your loved one’s resting place is cared for with genuine compassion. Every visit includes before-and-after photos, compassionate care, and the reassurance that your loved one’s memory is being honored exactly as it should be.

Honoring Every Legacy One Grave At A Time...
Through Legacy Grave Services, I’m proud to extend that same devotion to other families who want to ensure their loved one’s legacy is preserved beautifully, respectfully, and permanently.
Our work is guided by a few simple principles:
Respect — for the deceased, the families, and the sanctity of the resting place.
Preservation — using only gentle, non-ionic cleaning methods approved by preservation professionals to protect headstones for generations to come.
Connection — through services like our QR Memorial Plaques, which allow families to share stories, photos, and tributes digitally, keeping legacies alive in new ways.
